Indian Carrot masala rice



Learn to make the delicious and tasty carrot masala rice and enjoy with your family. Here is the recipe for you.

Ingredients:


1.       Boiled rice – 2 cup

2.       Slices of carrot – 4 carrots

3.       Chopped green onion – 2 onions

4.       Capsicum – 2

5.       Slices of green chili – 2

6.       Paste of Garlic – 3 pieces

7.       Paste of ginger – 1 tbsp.

8.       Turmeric – 1 tbsp.

9.       Red chili powder – 1 tbsp.

10.   Pulaav (rice) masala – ½ tbsp.

11.   Black pepper powder – ½ tbsp.

12.   Cumin (Jeera) – 1 tbsp.

13.   Salt as per requirement

14.   Oil – 2 tbsp.

15.   Coriander leafs – 2 tbsp.

How to make it?

1.       Put 2 tbsp. oil in nonstick pan and when oil is hot add cumin in it and stir for few seconds.
2.       Now add paste of garlic and ginger, carrot slices, capsicum, salt, and turmeric in it.
3.       Stir vegetables and masala for 4 to 5 minutes so it mixes well.
4.       Then add black pepper powder, red chili powder, pulaav (rice) masala powder, and green chili in it.
5.       After that add boiled rice in it slowly and stir continuously so the masala and vegetables mixes well in the rice.
6.       Your tasty carrot masala rice is ready to serve! Garnish it with coriander leafs.

You can add additional vegetables and dry fruits in it to make it tastier.
