Idli burger



Try out this new and different Indian food item ‘Idli burger’ recipe at home and enjoy eating with family. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:


1.       Idli – 6 pieces

2.       Boiled potatoes (mixture of it) – 2

3.       Boiled peas – 3 tbsp.

4.       Carrot – 1

5.       French beans – 5 (boiled small pieces)

6.       Coriander – 1 tbsp.

7.       Salt to taste

8.       Black pepper powder to taste

9.       Grated ginger and green chilli – 1 tbsp.

10.   Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.

11.   Few Lettuce leaves

12.   Tomatoes – 2

13.   Onion – 2

14.   Tomato ketchup – 3 tbsp.

15.   Green chutney – 2 tbsp.

16.   Oil to deep fry

17.   Toast crumbs

Method to make Idli burger:

1.       Mix all vegetables and make mixture of it. Add salt, ginger-chilli, and lemon juice.
2.       Make Pattis of it.
3.       Heat pan with oil and put Pattis on it. Cook it till it becomes slight pink.
4.       Make thin slices of tomatoes. Make slices of onion and remove rings of it.
5.       Make two equal parts of Idli.
6.       Spread green chutney on one side and tomato ketchup on other side of Idli.
7.       Put small lettuce leave on ketchup and then Pettis on it.
8.       Then put onion rings on Pattis and after that tomato slices. Spread salt and black pepper powder on it and then put the other part of Idli on it.
9.       Push it very slowly and carefully.
10.   Heat pan with oil and cook burger till it becomes slight pink.

Serve hot with tomato rasam or coconut milk curry. Delicious and yummy Idli burger is ready for you.
