Potato and Green Gram Burger



Yummy! I love trying variety in burgers. Well, we eat burgers in restaurants and are our favorite as well. Right? However, here I have added recipe to make potato and green gram burger that is healthy and delicious as well. Kids will love this recipe and it is nutritious as well. Follow the recipe to enjoy at home with your family and especially kids!

Ingredients:

1.       Burger bun (small size) – 2
2.       Butter – as per requirement
3.       Grated cheese – 2 cubes
4.       Apple slices – 1
5.       Juice of lemon – 1 tbsp.

For Tikki:

1.       Boiled potatoes – 2
2.       Green gram – ½ cup
3.       Butter – 1 tbsp.
4.       Salt to taste
5.       Chopped onion (small pieces) – 1
6.       Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp.
7.       Roasted cumin seeds powder – ½ tsp.
8.       Garam masala – ½ tsp.
9.       Bread slices (wet) – as per requirement

Method:

1.       Boil green gram in ¼ cup water.
2.       When it is boiled heat pan with 1 tbsp. butter and add chopped onion.
3.       Now add boiled green gram in it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Take it out from gas and put aside for some time.
4.       Now add mashed potatoes, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, grated cheese, tomato ketchup, and salt in green gram mixture. Mix well.
5.       Make tikki according to shape of bun. Put it in fridge for whole night. Heat pan with oil in the morning and cut burger from middle to put ingredients in it.
6.       Spread butter on both sides of burger. Roast on pan and then add tikki on one side of burger. Cut apple into round shape and spread juice of lemon on it.

The tasty and mouthwatering potato and green gram burger is ready to eat! Eat with tomato ketchup!
