Saunf (Fennel) Lassi



Feel fresh in summer with this saunf (Fennel) Lassi. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, and spices. It is famous yogurt based drink of India. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

 
1.       Fennel (Saunf in Hindi) – 1 tsp.

2.       Almond crushed – 2 tsp.

3.       Black pepper – 4 pieces

4.       Cardamom powder (ilaichi powder) – half tsp.

5.       Sugar – 2 tbsp.

6.       Curd (Astringent) – 2 small bowl

7.       Rose petals few for garnishing

Method:

1.       Crush fennel, almond, and cardamom (ilaichi).
2.       Mix them and spread some water on it. Again crush.
3.       Prepare a pulp of it.
4.       Add 1 cup water and sugar in it and make it thick.
5.       Add curd in it.
6.       Stir it well and add some water if you require. Prepare lassi.
7.       Add it in serving glass and garnish it with rose petals.

Chilled lassi make your mood and you feel fresh!

    1. I tried it, and then I tried again with black pepper. It's even better with black pepper included. My belly is happy. Yum!
