Jamun (Indian Black Plum) Raita



I have tasted all other recipes of raita but this is something different! I have never heard about jamun raita. Jamun is an Indian black plum. Here is the recipe to make Jamun Raita.

Ingredients:


1.       Chopped Jamun (Indian Black Plum) – ½ cup

2.       Curd – 1 cup

3.       Cumin seeds powder – ½ tsp.

4.       Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp.

5.       Salt to taste

Method:

1.       Gather all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
2.       Out it fridge for 1 hour.
3.       Take it out after 1 hour and garnish your raita with coriander leaves.

Bread Bhurji



Bread Bhurji is a tasty Indian food recipe that you can make it home easily. It is a mixture of white bread slices and other ingredients given below. If you have never tasted this yummy recipe then give it a try! I am sure you’re going to love it!

Ingredients:


1.       Wheat bread slices – 10

2.       Curd – 1 cup

3.       Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp.

4.       Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.

5.       Green chilli – 1

6.       Sweet lime – 3 to 4 leaves

7.       Crushed ginger – 1 tsp.

8.       Finely chopped onion – ¼ cup

9.       Oil – 2 tsp.

10.   Salt to taste

11.   Chopped coriander for garnishing

Method:

1.       Take one bowl and add curd, turmeric powder, salt, and 2 tbsp. water in it. Mix it well.
2.       Now add bread slices and mix properly.
3.       Heat pan with adding oil in it and add cumin seeds, crushed ginger, green chilli, onion, and sweet lime. Cook for a while.
4.       When onion is golden brown, add bread in it and cook on medium heat.
5.       When bread is slight brown, garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.

Minty Green Pea Soup



We generally choose tomato and hot & sour soups. However, it’s fun trying different soup recipes. That is why I have posted this healthy soup recipe of minty green pea. It is very easy to make at home.

Ingredients:


1.       Olive oil – 1 tbsp.

2.       Ginger & Chilli paste– 1 tsp.

3.       Finely chopped onion – 1/8 cup

4.       Chopped tomatoes – ¼ cup

5.       Green peas – 1 cup

6.       Mint leaves – ½ cup

7.       Milk – 1 cup

8.       Salt to taste

9.       Black pepper powder to taste

Method:

1.       Heat nonstick pan with oil and add ginger & chilli paste and chopped onion. Cook for a while.
2.       Now add mint leaves, tomatoes, green peas and 2 cup water in it. Boil it properly.
3.       When all ingredients are boiled, crush it in a mixture and prepare puree of it.
4.       Add puree in a bowl and mix milk, salt, and black pepper powder in it. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
5.       When soup is thick, garnish it with mint leaves.

Tandoori Aaloo (Potato)



Tandoori aaloo is a delicious Indian food recipe. Have you ever tasted it? Here I have posted recipe to make tandoori aaloo. It’s very convenient and easy to make at home. Follow the instructions.

Ingredients:


1.       Baby potatoes – 1 cup

2.       Fresh cream – 1 tbsp.

3.       Oil – 1 tbsp.

4.       Dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi in Hindi) – ¼ tsp.

5.       Salt to taste

For Paste:

1.       Whole dry chilies – 4
2.       Garlic cloves – 2
3.       Piece of ginger – 1
4.       Coriander-cumin seeds powder – 2 tsp.
5.       Fresh sprigs of coriander for garnishing

Method:

1.       Heat pan with oil and add all the ingredients of paste mentioned above. Mix it well and cook for 1 minute.
2.       Now add boiled baby potatoes, fresh cream, and dried fenugreek leaves. Cook for 2 minutes.
3.       When all the ingredients are mixed properly, garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.

Aaloo (Potato) Raita

Ingredients:


1.       Curd – 1 cup

2.       Boiled potatoes – 2

3.       Green chilli – 1

4.       Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp.

5.       Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp.

6.       Finely chopped coriander – ½ tsp.

Method:

1.       Prepare a smooth paste of curd and add salt, red chilli, green chilli, and cumin powder in it. Don’t forget to mix it well!
2.       Now add boiled potatoes in curd and mix it.
3.       Garnish your aaloo (Potato) raita with coriander, red chilli, and cumin powder.
