Spinach Kofta Curry



Want to try out something delicious and tasty? Here is the recipe to make spinach kofta curry.


Ingredients for spinach kofta

1.       Chopped Spinach – 2 and half cup

2.       Gram flour (Besan ka aata) – ¼ cup

3.       Salt to taste

4.       Cumin seeds – ½ tsp.

5.       Red chili powder – ½ tsp.

6.       Soda - little

7.       Oil for deep frying


For Gravy:

1.       Curd – 1 cup

2.       Gram flour – 2 tbsp.

3.       Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.

4.       Asafoetida – little

5.       Sweet Neem – 6 leaves

6.       Garlic cloves – 1 tsp.

7.       Onion – 1

8.       Salt to taste

9.       Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp.

10.   Oil – 1 tbsp.

11.   Turmeric powder – 1 tsp.

Method:

1.       Mix all the ingredients of kofta and make small balls of it. Fry in oil till it becomes golden brown. Put it aside.
2.       To make gravy add gram flour, curd, and water in a bowl. Mix well and make thick mixture.
3.       Heat pan with oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and sweet neem in it. Cook for 1 minute.
4.       Now add garlic cloves and onion in it. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
5.       When onion becomes golden brown add gravy in it (thick mixture).
6.       Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, and turmeric powder in it. Mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
7.       When all ingredients are mixed well, add kofta in it and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Serve hot! Your delicious and yummy spinach kofta curry is ready to eat!
